About us
Hipermer Bahçelievler is a specialist hyperbaric oxygen therapy centre in Bahçelievler, Istanbul, and part of HBO Group. Drawing on experience built up since 1997, we provide care to evidence-based medical standards.
Hipermer Bahçelievler Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Centre opened in 2005 and has been serving patients ever since in Bahçelievler, one of Istanbul's most densely populated districts.
Our experienced specialists and dedicated staff work hard to help patients recover. While following up patients, they provide medical treatment and wound dressings and, when needed, minor local surgical procedures and care with our consultant doctors.
At our centres in Istanbul, all patients with a doctor's report covered by SGK (Turkey's Social Security Institution) whose condition is on the list of indications, as well as patients with private insurance, can receive this treatment. We provide a 24-hour service for emergencies and work in coordination with the Provincial Health Directorate and the 112 emergency service.
Hipermer has an agreement with SGK and also works with many private health insurance and complementary health insurance providers.

Our founders
Prof. Ender İnci & Dr Aytunç Yur

Co-founder, ENT specialist, hyperbaric medicine
Professor Ender İnci was born in 1968 in Kelkit, Gümüşhane. He completed his primary and secondary education in Kelkit, Munich and İzmit. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and began his specialist training in ear, nose and throat (ENT) diseases at the same faculty that year.
He became an associate professor in 2005 and a full professor in 2011. His work has focused on facial plastic surgery, particularly rhinoplasty (cosmetic nose surgery). In 1997 he became a founding partner of Türkiye's first private hyperbaric oxygen therapy centre.

Co-founder, general surgeon, hyperbaric medicine
Dr Aytunç Yur was born in Sweden in 1967. He completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul and graduated from Kabataş Boys' High School in 1984. He studied at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine from 1984 to 1990, then completed his compulsory public service as chief physician at Silvan State Hospital in Diyarbakır.
In 1992 he began his specialist training in the Department of General Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. In 1996 he described a technique for excising non-palpable breast tumours using a marking method. In 1997 he entered the field of hyperbaric oxygen therapy as a founding partner of Türkiye's first private hyperbaric oxygen therapy centre.
Our history
1997
Türkiye's first private hyperbaric oxygen therapy centre was founded under the leadership of Professor Ender İnci and Dr Aytunç Yur.
2005
HBO Group began manufacturing hyperbaric oxygen therapy systems under the Hipertech brand and became a brand that competes internationally.
Today
The centres within HBO Group continue the founders' tradition of an up-to-date, scientific approach.
